Caros Boat Syndicate
Looking to form a group of four, to include the current joint owners. The yacht is moored in one of the nicest locations in the whole Mediterranean with dozens of small islands and the mainland towns within a few hours of each other. It’s just 30 miles from the airport – and a few hours drive from Corfu or Athens airports. There is also potential to move it to another location that the group members agree on, in the future.
I’ll support the new sharers as much as they need, to get to know the ins and outs of Caros and to feel comfortable handling her. I’m happy to sail with anyone for fun, help them navigate the waters and show them all the best places to explore. I am also happy to teach people to sail, if they pay a little extra for that. The Med is a great place to learn or to improve your sailing skills.

Caros was owned by an English syndicate of an English barrister and family and a Harley Street Surgeon and family for many years based at Lefkas. I bought the yacht about 14 years ago and extensively modernised her, reducing her to a bare hull and rebuilding her. This took me and a helper 14 months 6 days per week, non stop!
As a qualified yacht fitter of 30 years experience, I have tended to do most of the maintenance myself (including fit the engine) and this will keep the running costs down for shareholders. And there are plenty of experienced mechanics in the area where the yacht is moored, who can be called upon when required.
