Lockantanks Racing Syndicate
A group of shareholders in a prize winning racehorse, which includes the primary owner and trainer. The maximum group size is 20. The primary owner retains 80% of the shareholding. The other sharers hold a minimum of 3% each, entitling them to equivalent share of the winnings and of the sale proceeds, should the horse be sold. Shareholders get together at race meets, where they can also network with other racehorse owners and trainers. They get regular progress updates and they can visit the horse.
Minority shareholders pay a flat monthly fee only; there are no entry costs, extras or exit fees. They give just one month's notice if they wish to leave the group and their shares are transferred back to the primary owner.
