Billing and Expenses
Whether group members pay per use, per hour, or on any other basis, you can set that up in our system to automatically calculate the fees each member owes. Members are notified by email at the start of each booking, to confirm their usage. All usage and costs are displayed, to help members check they have entered the correct information. Members can also split usage costs with others in the group
No booking? No problem! Members can still enter the usage.
Billing is monthly and you can include other fees into the calculations, if you wish. Your group treasurer can review, edit and add information, or make manual adjustments before approving the payment notifications. Members can submit expenses any time, which will be offset against any amounts owed. Members can also click amounts owed, to confirm they have paid. You can review and export the information any time.

Usage, Issues and Reminders
The key to keeping running costs down is effective monitoring, so you can deal with any emerging issues. Whatever usage factors your group tracks, you can set those up here. Members are prompted to enter the information and it's all displayed to help your group check the accuracy of the entries, monitor the trends and spot any irregularities. You can export this information any time.
You can set up usage alerts that will automatically notify you by email when a threshold has been reached. You can reset or remove these as you need to. You can also set up other reminders and tasks - for licensing, insurance or cleaning for example.
Any group member can report an issue any time and indicate how urgent it is. You will be notified by email and you can edit or close the issue when done.

Private Discussion Board
The Discussion Board is private to your group, so it’s safe to discuss any topic, to help manage things smoothly. Any group member can raise a new topic or reply to any post. Group members are notified by email with each post, so they can stay up to date, wherever they are. And all the discussions are in one secure place, for all group members to see.
Starting a new group? You can use the Discussion Board to help pull the group together and discuss the asset you want to share.

Post a Share
Any group member can post a share any time, for free, from your secure group area. For each share posted, the information about the asset and the group will be published directly from the details maintained in the group area. So any time that you update that information, that will also update the share posts.
Starting a new group? You can Post a Share from your secure group area to attract new members to buy an asset together.

Followers
Whether or not your group has a share for sale right now, it’s always useful to have a network of like-minded people who may be interested in joining the group in the future. That’s why we give your group a Public Profile page, where goshared community members can click to ‘follow’ your group, to show they are interested in finding out more.
When a share in your group is posted, your Followers will be automatically notified by email. In the meantime, group members can exchange secure messages with Followers to introduce themselves and help them get to know the group.
And you can let Followers know about any open meetings or events where they can see the asset or meet group members in person.
